Detect-A-Fire® 
detectors offer significant explosion proof and intrinsically safe listings.

CFD® System can detect specific overheat conditions at any point along its sensing element without regard for rate of temperature rise or average ambient temperature.
 

RATE COMPENSATED DETECTION MORE

Vertical and horizontal mounting DETECT-A-FIRE® (DAF)heat detectors utilize the rate compensation principle which ignores rate-of-rise and thermal lag to respond precisely at set-point. DAF® heat detectors are vibration resistant and have hermetically sealed contacts with significant explosion proof and intrinsically safe listings.

 

LINEAR DETECTION MORE

The Fenwal Continuous-Fire-Detection® (CFD) system stands alone in its field with the unique ability to detect specific overheat conditions at any point along the entire length of its sensing element without regard for rate of temperature rise or average ambient temperature. Further, it is the only system with a single control having the capability of connecting elements set at a variety of temperatures to provide simultaneous coverage for different alarm points in the several areas being protected.
